More birthday bunny

I used my fave sentiment again on 2 cards today:

BirthdayBunny2
BirthdayBunny3
Both cards use the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches: the first was used as is, the second card turned it on its side and mirrored it to get this layout. I used 3 sets for these cards: Happy Birthday is from Birthday Bunny, the bottom sentiment is from Forget About the Cake and the frame and dashed line are from the Framed Greetings Die and Stamp set. I hope you like them and TFL!

You’re not getting older.

You're getting A LOT older. Bwaaaahaaahaaaahaaaa! I absolutely LOVE this sentiment - one of my faves EVER!

ForgetAboutCake2
The image was watercolored with my Tombows and the curved banner was cut with my Zing using Make-The-Cut. The straight flag on the bottom was hand cut. Image and sentiments are all from the Forget About the Cake set and the sketch is from the TCP Tuesday Challenge.

Nancy’s Buddies

Hi all! I have another shaped card for you today, this time using the Lettering Delights set Nancy's Buddies:

Nancy'sSquirrel1
I used the squirrel and tree stump images and added my own computer generated sentiment onto the stump. The whole thing was pieced with SU! cardstock which was cut with my Zing using Make-The-Cut.

This is for the Digital Tuesday Challenge - Amazing Animals. I hope you like it and TFL!

You’re So Tweet!

Hi everybody! I finally have a stamped card for you today!

YoureSoTweet1
I used You're So Tweet from Your Next Stamp (the sentiment is included).

I inked up my stamp with a light gray Tombow marker and stamped onto the cardstock. Next, I outlined and colored in the image with Prismacolor colored pencils (no odorless mineral spirits this time - just straight coloring). Super simple and I think it looks almost like I drew it myself! Lastly I stamped the sentiment in gray ink to match the softer colors of the image.

This is for YNS Challenge - Anything Goes. I hope you like it and TFL!

Nancy’s Party Cards

Hi everybody! Today I have 3 cards to share with you! None of them involve stamping: I cut them all out with my Zing using Make-The-Cut and Lettering Delights files. Specifically, I used Nancy's Party (by the awesome Nancy Kubo). This first is a simple cupcake done with patterned papers from Basic Grey: Nancy'sCupcake1 This next is an adorable bear cupcake done with Stampin' Up! and Bazzill cardstocks, plus a teeny bit of Trendy Twine: Nancy'sBearCupcake1 And this last one is a modified card - you can see that the present is the "card" (the only part that opens up where you can write a message). The rest of the card is just the layers of the turtle that don't open up: Nancy'sTurtle1 These are also for Delightful Challenges - anything goes. I just adore making shaped cards and I'll have one more for you real soon! I hope you like them and TFL!

Ocean Rose Tag/Bookmark

Hey everybody! I have another project for you today! I made another bookmark, this time in a tag shape: OceanRose1 Once again I used a Hannah Lynn image that was printed on watercolor paper and colored with my Tombows. I covered the front with clear laminating film and mounted it on a matching black tag. Can you tell I just adore Hannah Lynn's art?! This is also for the Digital Tuesday Challenge - "Tag It." Hope you like it and TFL!

Bookworm Bookmark

Hi everybody! Surprised to see me? Yes, it has been AGES since I blogged last and it's due to a serious lack of mojo. I've had issues lately and it completely sucked the creative energy right out of me! But I'm starting to feel better and hope to be creating regularly again soon. Until then, here's a little bookmark I made today: Bookworm I used a Hannah Lynn image and a computer generated quote I found on the internet. She was watercolored with Tombow markers and then I put clear laminating film over the front and back of the bookmark to protect her from wear and tear. I hope you like it and TFL!
