Honey Bee Stamps & My Sweet Petunia Blog Hop

Hi all!  Welcome to my stop on the Honey Bee Stamps and My Sweet Petunia Hop!  If you're following along, you should have arrived here by way of Mindy's blog.  If you just happened upon this post, you'll want to go back to the beginning (links below) because you don't want to miss a stop!  There are prizes to be won!!

Today I have something that I came up with by combining a couple of existing ideas.  First is the stamp pads that you can cut to the size of your stamp and ink them specifically for a stamp, and the other idea is the temporary inkpad made out of baby wipes from Jennifer McGuire.  I wanted to use the inkable stamp pad in my MISTI, but it was too thick to fit in it, so I remembered how Jennifer made inkpads out of baby wipes.

Basically my idea is to make a temporary inkpad that can go in and out of the MISTI to ink a stamp in a very specific way.  If you watch my video, hopefully you'll understand it better:

And here are those cards that I showed in the video:

I hope you like this idea and will share with me what you make with it!

I mentioned prizes before: You could win a $45 gift certificate to Honey Bee Stamps or a MISTI (choice of Original or Mini)!!  To be in it to win it, just leave a comment at every stop on the hop.

The MISTI winner will be posted HERE on April 7, 2017.  The Honey Bee winner will be posted on the Honey Bee Blog.

Here's the hop lineup so you won't miss a stop:

My Sweet Petunia

So now you're on to Lesley's blog, but don't forget to leave me a comment before you go!  Happy hopping!

  26. Brilliant and so versatile. I can already think of a dozen ways to use the idea. I've done my own ink pads before, but always out of a much thicker medium, that you're right does NOT fit in the misti! Great idea to use the acrylic sheet in back of it for all sorts of reasons. So glad I hopped along! Except now I need that stamp!
