Happy Autumn

Hi all!  I’m back with another coffee themed project for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  This time it’s a little giftie – a K-Cup holder with 2 K-Cups:

KupToppersTwo2a

KupToppersTwo2b

I used the Kup Holder Die (you cut it twice and assemble), the Kup Topper Die Set (for both the plain and scalloped circles), the Kup Toppers 2 stamp set (the sentiment), and the Kup Toppers stamp set (the little button image).  I was able to cut all the pieces I needed for this project out of 1 sheet of patterned 8.5 x 11” cardstock.  I finished it off with a piece of brown twill.

Hello Honey Bee

Hi all!  I have a card made with my hubby in mind:

SweetAsHoney1

I used the Sweet As Honey stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps and the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch.  I also used my MISTI to help line up the sentiment and added a few sequins as a finishing touch.

This is also for Less Is More – Something Shiny (sequins).  I hope you like it and TFL!

Smile

Hi all!  I have a card for a couple challenges today:

WhatABlast2

The bear with pinwheel is from the What A Blast stamp set and the sentiment is from Kick Some Grass.  I paper pieced the pinwheel and did a tiny bit of coloring with white and black Prismacolor colored pencils.

This is for the following challenges:

Today is a Good Day

Hi all!  Today I have a card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop:

TH2015Stamp1a

I did a Fall colored watercolor background with my new Gansai Tambi watercolor paints and stamped the Tim Holtz Stamptember 2015 Coffee stamp on it.  I cut it out with the largest of the Stitched Rectangle die set from Your Next Stamp.

I stamped the image again on a scrap of watercolor paper and watercolored it.  Then I traced the outline of the cup and sign onto a piece of acetate with a wet erase marker.  I used this acetate with my Scan N Cut machine to get it to cut out just the cup portion.  I added that to the background with some foam tape.  Here you can see the dimension:

Two Toned Birthday

Hi all!  Today I have a card made for the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday – Two Toned Sentiments:

EmbellishedElegance1

I used the PTI set Embellished Elegance and it’s matching die set, as well as the Diagonal Die Cover Plate.  And of course I used the MISTI because this technique was made for the MISTI!

This is also for SSS Wednesday Challenge – No Designer Paper.  I hope you like it and TFL!

Booyah

Hi all!  Today I have a card made for the Lawnscaping Challenge – One Layer Card (which is just a card base with no additional layers of paper/cardstock and minimal embellies).  Here’s what I came up with:

Booyah1

First I used Make the Cut to create an A2 size rectangle with the word BOO cut out.  I blacked out the letters so they would be solid.  I cut it using my Scan N Cut, stuck down the letters on my card base, and sponged Black Soot Distress Ink around the letters.

Next, using the Booyah stamp set,  I stamped the hat/hair onto the card using my MISTI and masked them all off using reusable masks I previously made.  [I specifically call them reusable because they are covered in clear packing tape so I can wipe off any ink that gets on them.  This makes sure the ink doesn’t leak through the masks and I can keep using them until the stick on the back wears off.]  I then stamped the ghost bodies and colored them using Luminance colored pencils. Then I stamped their little faces.

Finally, I put it back in my MISTI to stamp the sentiment, which I embossed with clear embossing powder.  Here’s a start to finish video:
