June YNS New Release Hop!

Hi all!  It’s time for our June New Releases – yay!!  Hopefully you’ve been hopping along to get to me, but if not, please go back to the start at Brianna’s Blog (links below) so you don’t miss a stop!

I’m always super excited about any release when there are products I designed, and this month I have 2!!  There’s my new addition to the Scrapworks line called Scrapworks: Strips, and also the fun Build A Treat!  I’m so happy to see the Stitched Squares and all the adorable new stamps, too!

First up, I have a project that uses both of my new die sets:

BuildATreat1

I used the Build A Treat set to make a cupcake with candle.  The flame of the candle was colored with Copics.  I added a sentiment from Jessica with Cupcakes.

Next up I have a card done with the Scrapworks: Strips and Stitched Squares die sets to make a quilt block card:

    I LOVE those stitched strip dies - especially because I have lots of scraps of paper that I just can't throw away and this would be perfect for that! I am sending a link of your blog to one of my quilter friends. Pretty sure she is going to swoon over your second card!

    I really like the patterned paper used for the cupcake wrapper. Perfect choice. I also really like the quilt card. Great idea for using smaller pieces of paper that are just too pretty to throw away.
