Summer1a

I colored Summer with colored pencils and OMS because I wanted to show that these beauties aren’t just for Copics!  Any coloring medium would look fabulous with these images!!  It did take a little time to color her up, but that was the fun part!  I hope you like her!

Now, we don’t normally give 2 order discounts opportunities within the same month, but this release calls for an extra special discount….receive 20% off your entire order over $20!!

Now it’s time for you to hop over to Tracy's amazing blog, but don’t forget to leave me a comment before you go!

Easter K-Cup Covers

Hi all!  Today I have a couple cute little gifties in the form of decorated K-Cups that can be for Easter or anytime!  Here’s a shot of both of them together:

EasterGoodiesWhatnots1a

I used the new YNS Whatnots - Easter Goodies die set and a couple of computer generated sentiments.  The carrot was made in Make-The-Cut (it’s not just for cutting!) and the second was made with the Word Art function in Microsoft Word.  Here’s a better shot of the peeps rabbit (my absolute fave die in the set):

EasterGoodiesWhatnots1b

I just printed the sentiment out on a piece of patterned paper, punched it out with a 2” circle punch, added the bunny with some foam dots and a little jute twine bow to finish it off!  LOVE these and want to make a bunch of them for my favorite peeps!  I hope you like them too and TFL!

We have several fun new stamp sets and dies to share with you, and they are all available NOW in the Your Next Stamp Store!  The hop will last until Friday, March 22nd at midnight (EST).

We have 3 hidden prize packs hidden amongst the DT blogs!  Just leave a comment on all of the blogs for your chance to win!  Winners will be announced on the Your Next Stamp Blog on Saturday.

And now for my projects:

For my first project, I just had to use the fun new notebook paper edge die in the Back to School Whatnots die set and also one of the fabulous new Whatnot Sentiments:

WhatNotSentimentsOne1
I also used the heart from the Whatnots Seasons Set One die set.  I finished it off with a piece of jute twine tied in a bow.

Next I made this using the new Letterboard die:

Letterboard1
As you can see, instead of cutting it all out, I embossed the die into the white cardstock.  Then I just diecut the HI from a scrap of patterned paper and mounted it on the board with foam dots.  I also finished this card with some jute twine and a button.

As always, Karen is offering some hop specials in the Your Next Stamp Store so make sure you take advantage of these great deals!

Now it’s time to hop on over to Wendy R's super amazing blog, but don’t forget to leave a comment before you go!  Happy hopping!

YNS New Release Sneak Peek!

Hi all!  On Tuesday night, we have our March New Release blog hop for you, but for now, I have a small sneak peek of a set that’s coming out this month called Smiley Happy Critter Crew Set Three:

SmileyHappyCrittersSetThree1

Since it’s also YNS Tasty Tuesday, we took inspiration from this month’s TT picture:

a33 (from this post)

I took inspiration from the bottom left picture – the colors red, yellow, black and white and since it’s coconut WATER, I watercolored my image!

I used the adorable bee image, watercolored with distress inks and cut out.  I did a crazy circle of stitching to stand for his flight path and used one of the sentiments from the same set on a fishtail flag.

We hope you’ll play along (details are on the YNS Blog) and also that you’ll join us back here for our March New Release Blog Hop.  TFL!

YNS Tasty Tuesday

Hi all!  I have another Tasty Tuesday post for you today.  This month, our inspiration picture is:

a33 (from this post)

I was inspired by the rainbow of colors  and also the black and white from a couple of the cloths underneath the jars.  Here’s what I came up with:

HeartfeltSentiments5

I stamped a sentiment from Heartfelt Sentiments with Versamark ink and white embossed it on watercolor paper.  Then I took a water brush and Distress Inks and made a background with the colors in the infused waters.

I diecut 2 polaroid frames and layered them together slightly offset and glued them to my sentiment panel.  Finally, I hand-dyed some seam binding with the same colors I used on the background and tied it into a bow on the front of the frames.

We hope you’ll play along with us!  All the details are on the YNS Blog.  TFL!

Happy Birthday Fairy

Hi all!  Today is a reminder post that you still have 1 week to play along with the current All That Scraps Challenge which is Paper Piecing.  Here’s my card for this week:

FairyAbigail1

Fairy Abigail was stamped and her hair and skin colored with Copics.  I paper pieced her wings onto glitter cardstock and her dress onto patterned paper.  I also paper pieced her little hair piece and did some shading with colored pencils and OMS.

The sketch is from Mojo Monday and the sentiment is from Sentiment Sampler.  We hope you’ll play along.  Just remember that you must use a C.C. Designs stamp, including - AmyR, Mashi's Muffins, Sweet November, Lil Lads & Lolitas & Webbie's Words.  It will be deleted if not.   TFL!

Just a Note

Hi all!  I watched a couple of videos on Jennifer McGuire’s blog today, namely this one on creating a colorful masked card and this one on ghost stamping on kraft.  I loved them both so much that I had to play right away and I decided to combine both of her card ideas into one: a colorful masked card with ghost stamping on kraft.  Phew!  That a mouthful!  Here’s the card:

BeautifulBlooms3

I used the Beautiful Blooms set from Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is from the Sentiment Sampler set from Paper Smooches.  The white ink is Stampin’ Up! and all the rest of the inks are from a·muse|studio.  The twine is also from PTI.

This is also for CAS-ual Fridays – stamp your own background.  I hope you like it and TFL!
