Joy

Hi all!  I have a fun shaker card for you today:

Just a note: it looks like the card is wrinkled, but that's actually the plastic pocket it's in.  And it's not actually wrinkled, just wavy.

I printed the image Christmas Tree Time on watercolor paper and colored with my Gansai Tambi watercolors.  The Joy sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and the sequins are from Lucy.

I took a half-size page protector and cut that in half to make an A2 sized pocket.  I used my wood burning tool to seal the edges and cut off the holes and perforated seal lines from the original pocket.

This is for the following challenges:

I hope you like it and TFL!

Christmas Wishes

Hi all!  Today I have a card for several challenges:

TinyVioletFairy1

I used the super cute Tiny Violet Fairy, but colored her to be a poinsettia fairy instead!  The sentiment is from Very Vintage Christmas.  I stickled her wings and added pom-pom trim around the focal panel.

This is for the following challenges:

I hope you like it and TFL!

Christmas Cheer

Hi all!  I have another post for you today because I wanted to get my challenge entries out of the way before the upcoming Hops!

ChristmasLightFairy1

I used A Day For Daisies image called Christmas Light Fairy and the sketch from Mojo Monday.   The image was printed on my laser printer and colored with Copics, except for the tiny string and bulb toppers that were colored with a silver Prismacolor Pencil.  The papers are from Doodlebug and the snowflake die is from Your Next Stamp, as is the sentiment.

This is also for the following challenges:

I hope you like it and I hope I’ll see you back here tomorrow for a special Hop!

Peace On Earth

Hi all!  Today I have a little tag that can be used as a bookmark that I made for the A Day For Daisies challenge – Kraft and Tags:

LittleWinterFairy1

I used the ADFD image called Little Winter Fairy and a sentiment from Paper Smooches.  The image was printed directly on the kraft cardstock with my laser printer (manual feed and using the special exit out of the back of the printer) and colored with colored pencils.  Then I added a little Stickles on the wings.  I hope you like it and TFL!

Gathering Summer

Hi all!  I have a card for a couple challenges today:

GatheringSummer1

I used an image from A Day For Daisies called Gathering Summer and the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  She was colored with Copics and fussy cut out with a thin white border.  The doily is from Cheery Lynn Designs and the sentiment is from Pull Tab Sentiments.  The white seam binding was colored with the same copic markers that I used for the image.

This is also for the ADFD Challenge – Add a doily and/or twine and Crazy 4 Challenges - flowers.  I hope you like it and TFL!

Hugs

Hi all!  I have another card using A Day For Daisies image because I wanted to play along with their challenge – Stripes:

FairyWish1

I used the image Fairy Wish (sorry I can’t link it because it’s not in the store) and the sketch from Sketch Saturday (which BTW is sponsored by ADFD this week).  I printed her on Georgia Pacific cardstock with my Epson printer and colored her with Copics.  I matched her striped stockings to the striped background paper and picked the rest of the colors from the stockings.  I added a sentiment from Sentiment Sampler and a couple of YNS Gumdrops (colored with Copics to match).  I hope you like it and TFL!

You Are So Nice

Hi all!  I have a card for a few challenges today:

HelloFairy1

I used the pretty Hello Fairy image from A Day For Daisies and a sentiment from Word Salad.  I printed the image on Georgia Pacific cardstock with my Epson printer and colored with all pink Copics (except for hair and skin).  I airbrushed the background just a little with the R81 Copic also so it wouldn’t be so stark white.

This is for:

I hope you like it and TFL!

Sorry I missed your birthday….

Hi all!  I have a card for a couple challenges today:

LittleStripedDress1

The image is called Little Striped Dress and was printed on heavy watercolor cardstock.  The Challenge at A Day for Daisies is to use your fave technique and mine right now is watercoloring!  I used Distress inks for the skin tones and the rest was colored with Inktense pencils.

The sketch is from Sketch Saturday.  I added the sentiment on the bottom using LD Little Piggy font.  I hope you like it and TFL!

Believe

Hi all!  I have another non-Christmas card using a different Christmas set from Paper Smooches called  Christmas Sampler:

 FreehandButterfly1wMusic1

This is for A Day For Daisies challenge – Pop it up using their image Freehand Butterfly 1, this is the version with music notes.  I used the sketch from Unscripted and papers from the MME Follow Your Heart – Be Happy paper pad.

I paper pieced the butterfly, fussy cut it out and adhered just the body so that the wings could pop up off the card.  I hope you like it and TFL!
