Embrace Happiness
I used the image Tulips from Power Poppy. It was colored with Luminance colored pencils, then I added a very faint yellow halo watercolored around the image using an Inktense pencil. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Mega Mixed Messages. I hope you like it and TFL!

Coneflowers
Hi all! I took advantage of some… ok, MANY Black Friday sales and Power Poppy was one of them. I got several new images including this Easy Breezy Coneflowers set (it comes with 2 matching sentiments, but I chose not to use them this time).
I printed it on watercolor paper and watercolored with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. I added some Lucy sequin mix and a sentiment tag from Mama Elephant.
This is for the following challenges:

- SSS Monday Challenge – Thanks/Thanksgiving
- SSS Wednesday Challenge – Anything Goes
I hope you like it and TFL!

Hello Friend
Hi all! Today I have a card made for the Power Poppy Challenge – Bits and Pieces (use just part of an image). Here’s what I came up with:
I used just a part of the Sunflower Power image, cropped in Photoshop Elements to make a clear card. I printed it out twice on watercolor paper and watercolored with Distress Inks. Then I cut out the leaves and part of the flower with a combination of my ScanNCut2 and scissors. I layered the pieces on top with foam tape. I added glitter paste through the Falling Stars Stencil to the front of the clear card and adhered my pieces (image on the front and black mat on the back to hide the adhesive) Finally I added a little tag with a sentiment from Mini Messages and just a bit of watercoloring.
Here’s what the inside looks like:
And here’s an angled shot so you can see the dimension:
This is also for Cute Card Thursday – Sparkles (the stars are glittered). I hope you like it and TFL!

Adding Sunshine
Hi all! I’ve got a card for a few challenges today:
I used the gorgeous digi image Sunflower Power with its matching sentiment. I just opened up an A2 sized canvas in Photoshop Elements and put in the image off the side and the sentiment in the bottom corner. I saved as a JPG and printed out from Word.
I colored the sunflower with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and just a little water. It’s amazing how vibrant the colors came out! Finally, I shabbied up the panel by distressing the edges with scissors and sponging Distress Ink around the edges. I added a thin strip of lace to the back and called it a day.
Here’s a video:
And here’s THE LINK in case you can’t see the video player above.
This is for the following challenges:
- Power Poppy – Shabby Chic
- Shabby Tearoom – inspiration pic of sunflowers
- Creative Card Crew – Lace
I hope you like it and TFL!
