Hi all! It’s time for another Your Next Stamp Feature Day on the YNS blog. This month our theme was to use YNS animals/critters. There are so many great ones to choose from that it was hard to pick! But I finally went with Woodland Cuties:
I stamped the raccoon on watercolor paper and clear embossed. Then I colored him with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. I just used black and a dark brown. I cut him out with the matching die set and foam mounted him on the little scene I made with a couple patterned papers and the Spring/Summer Scene die set, and cut out with a Stitched Square. Finally, I used my MISTI to help me stamp the sentiment from the same set.
Please go check out all of the DT inspiration at the YNS Blog and comment there for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice! TFL!
I stamped the 2 doughnut parts using my MISTI and colored in the jam with a Tombow marker. Then I mounted the first half of the sentiment in my MISTI and colored just the word “jam” with the same red marker. I inked up the rest of the sentiment with my chocolate inkpad and also stamped the word “doughnut” with the same inkpad and my MISTI. I hope you like it and TFL!
Hi all! It’s time for new challenges over at the YNS Blog! First, here’s our color challenge photo:
And our sketch:
I chose to go with the sketch and came up with this:
I stamped the French fries from the Happy Meal stamp set with Memento ink and colored with Copics. Then I overstamped it with my MISTI and Versafine ink. I cut it out with the matching die set, stamped a face from Fun Faces, and then added googly eyes.
For the background, I used a die from the Stitching Marks Circles die set. I added a strip cut from red polka dot paper with the Scrapworks: Strips die set and finished it off with a sentiment that I stamped with 2 different colors of ink with my MISTI.
We hope you’ll play along! All the DT inspiration and details can be found on the YNS Blog.
Hi all! It’s that time of month for our DT Dare. That’s when the DT is given a specific theme to work with using the latest release. This month our theme is “Sunny Days” – use yellow and/or a sun on your project. Here’s what I came up with:
Sorry it looks so dull in the picture – I couldn’t get a good shot in the light I had – it’s much brighter yellow in real life.
Hi all! It’s time for our June New Releases – yay!! Hopefully you’ve been hopping along to get to me, but if not, please go back to the start at Brianna’s Blog (links below) so you don’t miss a stop!
I’m always super excited about any release when there are products I designed, and this month I have 2!! There’s my new addition to the Scrapworks line called Scrapworks: Strips, and also the fun Build A Treat! I’m so happy to see the Stitched Squares and all the adorable new stamps, too!
First up, I have a project that uses both of my new die sets:
I used the Build A Treat set to make a cupcake with candle. The flame of the candle was colored with Copics. I added a sentiment from Jessica with Cupcakes.
Hi all! It’s that time again – a new release is coming from Your Next Stamp! Here’s a peek for you:
I used the new Scrapworks: Strips dies to weave a pattern and then cut out of the woven piece with the new Stitched Squares dies. I used the heart from the Scrapworks: Mini Sunburst die set and another size of Stitched Square. To finish it off, I cut several of the Fancy Thanks die and stacked them up for dimension.
Please check out the YNS Blog to see a list of everybody who has a peek for you today. And we hope to see you back here tomorrow for the New Release Hop!
