Hi all! Just sneaking in a last minute entry into the current Little Tangles challenge – Grey, Yellow & Pink:
I used Swirly Twirly Tags for the bird and tag and Sparkle and Shine for the sentiment. I finished it off with a bit of music washi tape and pink enamel dots. I hope you like it and TFL!
Hi all! Thanks for joining me for the New Release After Party! First up, I have a super simple 1-layer card using the gorgeous new Catherine:
She was stamped on a Fabriano note card and watercolored with Distress Reinkers. I added a sentiment on the bottom from Quirky Animals Set One. BTW, I have a video on coloring this same image with a combo of Copics and InkTense pencils if you’re interested.
And next up, I promised I’d show you another way to use the Kup Topper stamp set and matching dies that doesn’t have anything to do with K-Cups. Here they are:
I made super simple little gifties with Hershey’s Kisses! I know you could just decorate the bottoms of the kisses, but I thought this was so much more fun!
I just die cut the large scalloped circle, stamped with colors that matched the kisses, and adhered the kisses to the circle with a little adhesive. Here’s a different view:
Aren’t they adorable? I was thinking they’d be great little things to leave on a co-worker’s desk just because they made you smile that day , or they’d be a cute little treat in your kid’s lunch box!
I also have a video using the Kup Topper sets with recycled K-Cups if you’d like another idea on using the sets! I hope you like everything and TFL!
Hello and welcome to the September Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop! We have some spooktacular new stamps and dies for you this month and they are available NOW at the YNS Store! We would love for you to hop along with us for your chance to win one of these adorable new sets:
The hop begins on Jen’s Blog, and if you’ve been hopping along, then you should have arrived from Laura’s blog. You have until Tuesday, September 25th at 12am (EST) to leave comments on all of the DT blogs for your chance to win! Karen will announce the winners on the YNS Blog Wednesday, September 26th.
Both scenes were stamped right onto patterned paper and I added a little color with InkTense pencils for interest. I wanted to make sure you don’t forget that these line images don’t have to just go on plain cardstock – patterned paper is a fun background!!
For my last project, I used the new Kup Topper stamp set (which I helped design – yay!!) not to top K-Cups as I first intended the set to be used, but to top a cupcake!
I used an older version of this Cupcake Shaped Box and digital Hello, Again papers to make the cupcake for my topper. Here’s a closer look at just the topper:
I used the paper pad version of Hello, Again for the topper. I cut out the base circle and the scalloped circle using the Kup Topper die set and then stamped with the Kup Topper stamp set in Amuse inks. Finally, I cut the button with the same die set and glued it in the middle of the topper (it could be tied on if you prefer).
[For the after hop party, I’ll have another way to use the Kup Toppers sets that’s not on K-Cups so I hope to see you back then!]
As always, Karen is offering some amazing hop specials! You will receive 15% off your entire order through September 27th! Online code is YNSSEPT22NR
Now it’s time to hop on over to Anita’s blog, but don’t forget to leave a comment before you go! Happy hopping and shopping!
Remember to leave comments along the way, you have until September 25th at midnight EST to comment for your chance to WIN!
Hi all! Tomorrow we’re going to have our September New Release Blog Hop so I thought I’d give you a little peek at what’s coming up!
Hmmm… what could that be?? :)

Hi all! Today I have a fun project for you – a giant cupcake box with topper:
The challenge over at There She Goes is to make a cupcake topper and it has to be displayed with either a real or crafted cupcake – what fun! I’m no baker so I decided to go with a crafted cupcake. I used the SVG file from the Happy Birthday To You kit and at full size, it turned out pretty big! I used papers from my Gossamer Blue scrapbook kit for the cupcake and paper from the Hello, Again paper pad for the topper. Here’s a closer look at the topper:
I used the Just For You and JFY - Halloween Additions sets from There She Goes and finished it off with a little orange twine from Timeless Twine. I hope you like it and TFL!
I paper pieced PJ the Bear with 2 different papers, the clouds with the same paper as PJ’s muzzle and tummy, and the pinwheel with 2 different papers. I used a funky blue piece of paper for the sky and a green piece for the grass. Finally I stamped the sentiment on the same light paper and punched it with a 1” circle punch to go with the background paper.
This is also for Simon Says Stamp – Animal Antics. I hope you like it and TFL!
Hi all! I have a card using a Dilly Beans image for their Challenge – button using their Girl & Butterfly image:
I used a really old SEI paper pad and the You clear stamp set from Simon Says Stamp for the sentiment. She was colored with Copics, the button is from a muse|studio and the sequins are from Avery Elle. I’m also linking this up to the STAMPtember Project share. I hope you like it and TFL!
Hi all! I have another N&T card for you today (yes, I’m having a ball playing with their stamps!!):
This is for their Challenge #20 – Back to the Blackboard. I used Sparkle & Shine and Sunburst and a few clear sequins. I wanted a little color in there so I added some reddish colored pencil (and a little white colored pencil frame) and reddish cardstock. The final touch was a little glitter pen on the diamond lines. I hope you like it and TFL!
I loved how June cut out a shape and then filled in behind it with sequins so I did the same with the lightbulb from Sparkle And Shine. I added a piece of acetate stamped with the lightbulb to go over the sequins and finished the card off with the sentiment from the set. I used the special Birthday Bash sequins – just pulled out a bunch of the gold ones. LOVE these pretty sequins!! Hope you like it and TFL!
Hi all! I have another Project Life filler card for you today using the Waltzingmouse Pajama Party Sketch challenge:
I used a sentiment from Fine Feathers and the Mini Fanciful Flourish die is from Cheery Lynn Designs. I added a couple of Martha Stewart butterflies and enamel dots to finish it off.
I also have a card for a couple other challenges using the Simon Says Stamp set Circle Friends:
The sketch is from CAS(E) this Sketch and it’s also for Simon Says Stamp – Animal Antics. It’s finished off with sequins from Darice and scripty washi tape from A Muse|Studio. I hope you like them and TFL!
Hi all! I just got my order from Neat & Tangled Stamps yesterday so I had to play right away!
I made this for their Technique Challenge (I used the chalkboard technique):
I used 2 sets from N&T – the tag from Swirly Twirly Tags and all the rest from Sparkle & Shine. I added just a bit of coloring with a light blue colored pencil and a few birthday sequins. I hope you like it and TFL!
P.S. I’ve got a post up today over at the YNS Blog on making a library pocket card. I’d love for you to check it out! Thanks!
Hi all! I just couldn’t start my day without a cup or two or three of coffee! After that, then I’m good and ready to scream this sentiment! I made this card with the Freshly Made Sketches #101:
I used I Like You and Arrows 'n Elements from Reverse Confetti and some My Mind’s Eye papers.
This is also for Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes. I hope you agree (JK!) and TFL!
Hi all! I have a Project Life filler card for you today and I’m hoping that it will count as a journal page for the purposes of the Dilly Beans challenge – scrapbook or journal page:
I printed out Unicorn Girl's Heart 3 times – white cardstock, the pink patterned paper and the yellow PP. I cut just the dress from the yellow PP and covered the heart on the pink PP with red Stickles. On the white cardstock version, I colored her hair with Prismacolor colored pencils and put some silver Stickles on the horn. I then cut out the whole head and glued it onto the body. Finally, I stamped a wing from the Fine Feathers set, cut it out and tucked it behind her back. To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Fine Feathers set and also the word DREAM with an alpha stamp set that my hubby gave me a while back. Last detail – I sewed a couple lines under the DREAM with my sewing machine.
