Well, the title pretty much says it all. I got another order in the mail today so I thought I’d share. This was from Simon Says Stamp. Enjoy!

hi deer
Hi all! I have a card for a couple of challenges made from all scraps that were sitting around on my work table!
I stamped and die cut the deer from Into The Woods on brown felt a long time ago, just to see if it would work nicely. Then I never got around to using it! I also tried out my A Muse|Studio Woodgrain Impression plate a while back and never made anything with that either. So here they both are with some patterned paper scraps also from my table (yes, my table is a MESS!) and a sentiment made using Mini Monograms.
I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch and this is also for Creative Card Crew – Animals, and Delightful Challenges - add a critter. I hope you like it and TFL!

Perfect Pennants
Hi all! A while back, I got an order from Stampin’ Up! and I totally forgot about it until now! I used the current sketch #88 from Papertake Weekly and came up with this:
I got the Perfect Pennants clear mount bundle and used a sentiment, as well as a banner die, from the bundle. All the patterned paper is from the Watercolor Wonder paper pack and I used Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango inks on the square watercolor panel.
I also used the Gold Squares One (along with the Classic squares) to do the debossed square panel. In case you’re wondering, I showed the Gold Squares One in the haul video I posted yesterday. I hope you like it and TFL!

Also, I got a package from Joann.com so I decided to do a haul video and brief explanation of some of the products I got:
I hope this enables some of you! lol!

Project Life on Cards
Hi all! The PL Honey Core Kit is one of my all time faves! I just love the bright colors and fun designs. But I can only use so much of it in my PL albums, so I decided to try using some of the supplies on my cards. I looked through the 4x6 title cards and came across this one:
I love that cloud design!! I thought it would make a good backdrop for a card, so I cut it down to 3x4 with my Journaled Weekly die set and made this card:
I used the biggest owl from Hooties and its matching die set. I stamped him with Memento ink and colored with Copics on x-Press It blending paper (I got a bunch and have been trying it out lately – still not sure if I like it better than plain old Georgia Pacific cardstock from Walmart). I stamped the branch in Chocolate Chip ink on Creamy Caramel cardstock and cut it out. The sentiment is from Word Salad and the heart balloon die is from the Party Kit dies. I finished it off with an A|S button tied with crochet thread.
This is also for Simon Says Stamp – Anything Goes with Buttons, Divas by Design – Buttons and Bows, and MarkerPOP – Anything Goes using Markers. I hope you like it and TFL!

Squeal
Hi all! Today I have a card using the really cute sketch from Retro Sketches:
I used the adorable hamster from Party Posse again and used its matching die to cut the shape from the green striped panel (which is a Project Life card that was lying around on my desk!). I popped up the panel on foam tape after I stamped it and the sentiment on the card base. The sentiment is from Many Thanks.
This is also for Crazy 4 Challenges - make a card, any card! I hope you like it and TFL!

Thanks for all you do
Hi all! The new Moxie Fab challenge is up and it’s all about stencils. Here’s what I came up with:
First I sponged 3 Distress Inks onto a white cardstock panel. Then I lightly misted the Garden Vines stencil with water and placed it over the sponged panel. I let it sit for a little while and when I lifted it off, there was this ghost impression left behind by the water reacting with the Distress Inks.
I finished off the card with a sentiment from the A Muse|Studio set Tool-Rific, a tiny clothespin also from A|S and a little bit of sewing thread.
This is also for Color Throwdown – Brilliant Blue, Perfect Plum, and Bermuda Bay (I matched the SU! colors to the Distress Inks as closely as I could). I hope you like it and TFL!

More Faux Letterpress
Hi all! Yes, I’m still playing with my faux letterpress technique – this time I used both sides of the folder for a positive and negative effect:
I used an old Cuttlebug folder and Blush ink from A Muse|Studio. I tied some A|S ribbon around the panels to cover up the seam and finished it off with an old Quickutz tag stamped with a sentiment from Beyond Basic Borders.
Here’s a closer view to see the texture:
The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches and this is also for CASology – keyword Blush. I hope you like it and TFL!

Faux Letterpress
I’ve been spending a LOT of time lately playing with embossing folders to get a faux letterpress look lately and I finally have a finished card to share with you:
To do the faux letterpress, I simply ink up one side of the embossing folder with a brayer and pigment ink refills, then run it through my machine OPEN with an embossing mat from Spellbinders. In this case, I inked up the side with more surface area using 2 purple A Muse ink refills.
Here’s a close shot so hopefully you can see some of the dimension from the debossing:
The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug and I also used stamp sets from Avery Elle: Build A Banner and its matching dies and Petals and Stems for the sentiment. This is for the Avery Elle challenge – ombre/gradient. I hope you like it and TFL!

YNS March 2014 Release
Hi all! We decided to have a March release today over at Your Next Stamp so won’t you check out the new stuff?
Here I used the new Fancy Vine Dies:
I cut the larger vine twice out of light and dark green cardstocks and cut them apart to make 2 pieces each. I layered the light one over the dark one for a shadow effect and added some sequins with some new Sparkly Mauve Gumdrops – these have glitter in them and are so fun and pretty!!
I created the sentiment with Happiness = from the Tea-Rific! stamp set and Spring from the Happy Day Sentiment set. I embossed the sentiment with white EP and sponged some Distress Inks over top of it. The sketch is from CAS(E) this Sketch.
Please go to the YNS Blog for the full release and a chance to win a stamp set of your choice! TFL!

The color palette is from Reverse Confetti – yellow, green, and navy, and the sketch is from Retro Sketches. The background lines are from So Stripey and all the other stamps are from Arrows 'n Elements. I die cut the stitching holes on the top with a Papertrey die and stitched the tag on with some navy blue embroidery floss. The hole reinforcer on the tag is from Blueprints #9. I used the Chalk Talk set from Stampin’ Up! as well as their Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. The orange layer was stenciled with the Memory Box Garden Vines stencil. Mom
Here’s an early Mother’s Day card that I made with a couple challenges in mind:
I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch and papers from MME. The stamp set is Framed Fonts from Avery Elle and the diecut letters are from the Alphawhimsy die set from Paper Smooches. I cut the mom letters out of patterned paper and 3 times out of white cardstock then glued them all together for dimension. Lastly I covered them with clear Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.
This is also for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge – Mother’s Day or Special Girl. I hope you like it and TFL!

For You
Hi all! I was reorganizing some things in my craft room this weekend and came across a bunch of a muse|studio products I haven’t used in a long time and some new stuff I just got. I came up with this card:
The silhouette is from Beautiful Botanicals 2 and the sentiment is from Aren’t You Sweet. I stamped the flower with Versamark ink and embossed with Hero Arts white EP on a piece of watercolor paper. Then I sponged some Distress Inks over the whole panel and spritzed with water to get a watercolor look and blend. The result was somewhat faded looking so I repeated the process to make the colors a little brighter. After drying with my heat tool, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
I took a little scrap of watercolor paper and applied some wet Distress Inks to it and punched out a Martha Stewart butterfly. I added a|s pearls and bits of black paper. The black dotted cardstock is retired a|s and the twine is also from a|s.
I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and this is also for Virginia's View Challenge – watercoloring. I hope you like it and TFL!

I’ve Got Sunshine
Hi all! I wanted to play along with the CAS-ual Fridays challenge – use at least 2 shades of gray, but it took me a while to come up with an idea. Today I finally made it work!
I used a sentiment and dotted cloud from Sunny Skies and a dotted border from Basic Borders, both from Mama Elephant. I stamped the sentiment with Daffodil Yellow ink on matching cardstock from Stampin’ Up! then cut it out with a circle Nestie and sponged the edges. I cut a little larger pinked circle and added it to the back of the sentiment with foam squares.
I stamped the clouds with SU! Basic Gray ink on Going Gray cardstock and stamped the border with the same Basic Gray ink. I cut out the clouds and adhered them to the card then mounted the sun over them with foam squares.
This is also for Crazy 4 Challenges - the sentiment is your focus. I hope you like it and TFL!

Hamster Thanks
Hi all! I think this little guy is supposed to be a hamster… whatever he is, he’s adorable!!
I wanted to play with some of the stuff I got recently from Paper Smooches, so I came up with this card. I stamped the hamster from Party Posse in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored him with Copics. Then I cut him out with the matching die.
I cut the Quote Tag Die from white cardstock along with a heart border and a couple individual hearts from the Hearts Dies set. I die cut the Thanks Word Die from French Roast dotted cardstock and also made the card base from the same cardstock. All the elements were adhered to the card base with flat adhesive or foam squares.
This is also for the SSS Wednesday Challenge – Tag It. I hope you like it and TFL!

Rainbow Watercolor Thank You
Hi all! The other day, a neighbor unexpectedly gave our family a bag of avocados from their tree so I wanted to make a card to say thanks:
I used Many Thanks from Mama Elephant with some white embossing powder from Hero Arts and my Versamark pad on a Fabriano note card. I scribbled over the embossing with my new Neocolor II watercolor crayons in a rainbow of colors then went over the scribbles with a wet water brush. Finally I added some Darice sequins.
This is also for Virginia's View Challenge – Watercoloring. I hope you like it and TFL!

Thanks Tags
Hi all! I have a card for several challenges today:
I used the sketch from CASE(E) this Sketch and the color combo from the Papercrafts March Gallery Challenge (Mint & Melon). This is also for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge – Tag It.
The tag shapes were die cut with the Embellished Tag from Mama Elephant. The sentiment is from Party Kit and the Chevron Vertical Cover Plate is from Papertrey. The striped paper is from My Mind’s Eye (I can’t remember which paper pad – this scrap was just sitting by my paper trimmer!) and the cardstock is Calypso Coral. Finally, the spatters were made with Heidi Swapp Georgia Peach mist and the twine is May Arts. I hope you like it and TFL!

Peepalicious
Hi all! I have a Fun Friday Challenge for you! We have a new inspiration picture for the month:
Isn’t it gorgeous! I took inspiration from the different colors of the flowers in the pic – light pink, dark pink, purple, peach, yellow, and white. Here’s what I came up with:
I had a thought to do an Andy Warhol-like piece so I searched the ‘net until I found this image and also took inspiration from that. All the colored cardstocks are from Stampin’ Up! and were sponged with Distress Inks. I used the peep die from the Easter Goodies die set and a sentiment from Happy Day Sentiments. I finished it off with some straight stitching and a few sequins. We hope you’ll play along with us! All the details are on the YNS Challenge Blog. TFL!

Thanks Diagonals
Hi all! Today I have a card that was made for the Papercrafts March Gallery Challenge - use the colors Mint and Melon:
I used a Calypso Coral cardstock base that was embossed in white with a graphic from the Diagonals stamp set from PTI. Then I used the Diagonals Die set to cut out pieces of white PTI cardstock. I stamped them with graphics from the Diagonals Additions mini set using (retired) Mint Melody ink. I then popped up the pieces on foam boosters. The sentiment was also embossed in white and is from ME - Many Thanks. The final touch was a bunch of stars cut from Mint Melody cardstock using the Confetti die and topped with Wink of Stella clear glitter pen and Glossy Accents.
I hope you like it and if you’ve got an extra minute, why not check out the other entries in the Gallery? Some great stuff to be seen there! TFL!

Hi all! Today I have a lovey dovey card made for the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge – Anything Goes:
I’ve seen pictures of these letter boards all over the internet lately so I thought I’d create one myself using the Alphadot stamp set. The heart is from Bee Mine and the Always is from We Connect. I embossed that part in white EP from Hero Arts and the sequins are from Darice. I hope you like it and TFL!

Hi all! I have a card today that was made with the Reverse Confetti March Sketch:
I used the Celebrate Cake set and a bunch of patterned papers from the Sweet Shoppe paper pad. The hat and sentiment were both embossing with detail black EP and I added an A Muse|Studio button tied with some Timeless Twine. The stars were done with white embossing paste and some holographic EP using the Heidi Swapp Confetti stencil and the final touch is a bunch of white sewing thread. I hope you like it and TFL!

Happy Spring
Hi all! I know it’s a little early for this card, but I just felt like playing with some bright, happy colors!
I used the new (to me) Mighty Oak stamp set and cover plate that I just got from PTI and some Distress Ink colors (Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feathers). I added a sentiment from the Happy Day stamp set from YNS, grass cut with an MFT die and some Avery Elle sequins.
I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch and this is also for Little Red Wagon – Yearning for Spring and Allsorts – Spring is Coming. I hope you like it and TFL!
