Ho Ho Ho!

Today's card was made for a challenge at MyGraphico - any creation using MyGraphico images. DT Member Lana pointed out that there are lots of great freebies we can use if we don't have any MG stuff yet, like the Designer Holiday Kit. As soon as I saw that adorable Santa image, I knew I had to use it! Here's my card:


I used a sketch from Caardvarks:


Santa was printed multiple times on white cardstock and colored with Prismacolor colored pencils and odorless mineral spirits, except for his face, which I colored with Copics. I flocked the brim and pom on his hat (which is for 365 Cards - use felt or flocking) and added glitter "snow" to the bricks in the chimney. I kept the card really simple to keep focus on Santa.

(The flash hit the flocking and made it look like glitter in this shot, but it really is flocking!) And here you can see some of the dimension:


Each brick was cut out and popped up with 2 layers of scrap cardstock. Santa was popped with foam dots and the flocked bits were popped up with scrap cardstock. I hope you like it and TFL!
